Only 20 feet to the lake shore with big slide-by windows over looking Teal Lake and it's wilderness islands. (With all windows open, the front room feels like a huge screened porch.) Listen to the lapping waves and the cry of the loons from the 2-person outdoor swing. Fish or just relax on the dock just outside the front door. Alder is close to the main swim beach, and just down the hill from the Main Lodge and swimming pool. Great location for everyone: kids, dogs, and adults. Flat entry from car/golf cart to door, then just 2 steps into cabin, friendly on bad knees.

Our largest one bedroom log cabin, with the original logs in the bedroom, this has a lakeside addition that includes a good sized kitchen, a dining table for six, and a living area with fireplace with a 2nd sleeping area in the corner with two twin day beds. The big bedroom has a king sized bed and two additional twin beds while still having room for a crib if needed. The bedroom provides a cool darker atmosphere for afternoon naps (for young and old). There is one tub/shower bathroom off the hallway, with new pine paneling.
This is an ideal cabin for families or a group wishing to economize (with comfort but sacrificing some privacy!)
