Perched above the lakefront in the treetops, Red Oak sits in its own big yard, away from the center part of the resort. The yard has a fire pit and lots of space to play. A path, with stairs, immediately in front of the cabin, leads down to a lovely lake path and a shared dock.Red Oak received a "NEW LOOK and lighter feel" Spring of 2011. Below are NEW pictures.. Red Oak, an exceptionally spacious, modern, three bedroom, two bath vacation home, has a lovely long view across the lake with big picture windows in both lakeside bedrooms as well as the living room. Both large bedrooms have two double beds; the lakeside one has a private tub/shower bath. The lakeside den/bedroom has one double and one twin bed and shares the hallway bathroom. There is a large sitting room with lovely picture window and wood burning fireplace. The full kitchen and dining area are large with lots of counter space, good for groups planning on doing there own cooking. Built as a year around home in late 1970's, it is popular in the earlier spring and later fall as well as summer with its classic North Country furnishings, a newer building with a traditional Northwoods ambiance.
This cabin has wider doors and handicap accessibility with a new long gentle ramp, as well as grab bars in the hall bathroom.
Ideal cabin for those doing their own cooking, as well as those needing space to spread out, indoors and outdoors.
