GENERAL CALENDAR AND EXPLANATIONS

Special Notes!

GOLF PRIME SEASON RATES run from Friday before Memorial Day until Labor Day. The early weekends in September are also still prime season. But the weekdays in September and the later weekends of September have a special lower rate, usually $10 less than Summer rates.

If staying at the Lodge, GOLF IS FREE to our guests in May and October. If just playing golf, golf is at SPRING/FALL RATES and a good deal!

THE YEAR BEGINS with "QUIET SEASON"
WINTER THRU MAY 21, THURSDAY: Quiet Season Rates for Accommodations
	This actually goes from closing the Lodge dining room in early October, to reopening for the Memorial Day weekend, usually for Friday dinner. We have guest homes and suite apartments available all year long, with full kitchens and fireplaces. All are fully provided with linens, etc. but daily maid service coincides with the dining room opening. Quiet season accommodation rates: we offer a daily rate, plus a third night FREE because we feel people should slow down a bit, and enjoy the northwoods once they arrive!
May 1 OPENS THE GOLF COURSE!
MAY 1, Friday: Teal Wing Golf Course opens "OFFICIALLY" for season
	We are always ready May Day, but often play a few days before. (One year there were golfers out on the course April 20th… but this is rare!). The Friday before the opening of fishing in Wisconsin (first Saturday in May) is our first busy day.
SPRING SEASON for Accommodations
MAY 22, Friday: Dining Room and Lodge facilities (including pool) OPEN
MAY 22, Friday – JUNE 18, Thursday: Spring Season Rates for Accommodations
	FRIDAY OF MEMORIAL WEEKEND is the beginning of Spring rates for accommodations and the opening of the Dining Room, etc. These rates continue to around June 20 (check exact dates). This includes Father’s Day weekend; great gift idea for Dad! The last weekend of Spring Rates coincides with the blossoming of the lupines on the golf course, a spectacular thing to see-and great gift for Mom too.
SUMMER SEASON for Accommodations
JUNE 19, Friday – AUGUST 20, Thursday Summer Season Rates for Accommodations
	Approximately June 20 - August 20, but with a little variation year to year. Accommodations are at Summer rates, with full facilities open and the dining room. Remember that at Ross’ you can come and go any day of the week, for a couple of nights or covering two weekends. We are not committed to Saturdays, or even to a minimum stay. However, on less than 5 night stay, we will commit only to rate and minimum size guest home, but not guarantee a specific home.
FALL SEASON for Accommodations
AUGUST 21, Friday – OCTOBER 11, Sunday: Fall Season Rates for Accommodations
	Around August 20, approximately, we drop to Fall rates. These (same as spring rates) are about 30% less than mid summer. Many families are back to school and activity schedules, however, some families are not involved with football and forensics. And some families have smaller kids not yet involved. It is a great time visit Teal Lake, while all facilities and dining room are still open. The swimming pool closes Labor Day Monday. Fall Season also includes Columbus day weekend, a great last three day get-away before winter. Golf is FREE for lodge guests in October, which makes the weekends popular.
CLOSING WEEKEND for FULL LODGE SERVICES
OCTOBER 9, Friday- OCTOBER 12, Monday: Columbus Day Weekend
	2nd weekend of October is our last weekend with full facilities and Dining Room open, before it is all put to bed for winter. This is a beautiful time of year with all the fall colors, great fishing and FREE GOLF for lodge guest in October. Dining Room closes after Breakfast, Columbus Day Monday. For a couple of days, while we close up the resort, many fisherman have helped our staff eat leftovers at the back table!
QUIET SEASON AGAIN OCTOBER 12, Monday – Winter: Quiet Season Rates for Accommodations
	After Columbus Day weekend, we go back to Quiet Season Rates (THIRD NIGHT FREE!) till next Spring. There is no Service charge in Quiet Season since there is no housekeeping and dining room is closed, but we do provide full linens, towels, etc. Golf Course is still open to the end of October and lodge guest enjoy FREE GOLF.
