Option #1: Grilled Cookout Dinner- outside
Description: Wisconsin Brats, Hamburgers, and Chicken Breasts can be cooked on an outside grill, then served as sandwiches in a buffet format. Homemade potato salad, baked beans, multiple salads, and condiments will be included in the buffet.  A choice of homemade desserts will complete the meal.  People will be socializing outside while being tempted by the smells coming from the grills. After walking through the buffet, people will usually eat out, at picnic tables and benches but you have the option of inside sitting in the Dining Room of the classic Main Lodge, in case of bad weather.   Outside there will be a fire pit that people can gather around and socialize.
Location: This cookout can happen in front of the main lodge for everyone. OR if it is a private party, it could be set up at one of the 4 bedroom cabins.  Lighting would be a concern, if not at the main lodge.
Set up Fee $15 per 10 people, plus Grilled Cookout Dinner $10.00 per person
(plus service charge 15% and sales taxes 5.5%. Total = $12.05/person + fee)

Option #2:Traditional Walleye Buffet “shore-dinner”. With REAL walleye!
Buffet in Dining room. The menu is based on the Traditional Shore-dinners that were part of the “northcoutry” fishing trip. The guides would cook over an open fire on the shores of the lake and create a mouth-watering feast from the catch of the day. The classic menu is potatoes fried in the bacon grease, baked beans, and fried real Canadian WALLEYE. Ross’ Teal Lake Lodge still does the traditional shore dinner out on the island over the open fire, but this menu can also be done on land and served from a buffet. On, the buffet, in the health conscious 21st century, we also add salads and complete the meal with homemade desserts. After walking through the buffet, people will have the option of either inside sitting in the classic Main Lodge Dining Room, at tables of 6-12 people OR relaxed sitting outside at picnic tables and benches. Outside there will be a fire pit that people can gather around and socialize. (For those who do not eat fish, we can have an option of grilled chicken breasts.)
Shore Dinner buffet: $22 per person  
(plus service charge 15% and sales taxes 5.5%. Total = $26.69/person)
* if going to the Island for Walleye Shore-dinner, with resort staff and boats, price is same but with additional Set up fee of $15 per 10 people.*

Option #3: Steak cookout – Outside
Description: 8oz  Broiled Aged Rib-eye steaks will be cooked outside on the grill, then served to order, with the rest of the dinner served from a buffet. Included in the buffet will be baked potatoes, rolls, multiple salads, and condiments. A choice of homemade desserts will complete the meal. People will be socializing outside while being tempted by the smells coming from the grills. After walking through the buffet, people will usually eat out, at picnic tables and benches but you have the option of inside sitting in the Dining Room of the classic Main Lodge, in case of bad weather.  A choice of homemade desserts will complete the meal. (The option for eating outside is still available but with a steak dinner it gets harder to eat from ones lap!). A chicken breast option can be available for non-steak eaters.
Steak Cookout Dinner: $28 per person  
(plus service charge 15% and sales taxes 5.5%. Total = $33.97/person)

Option #4: Sit-down dinner, with pre-orders
Description: People will have a choice of 2 entrees and will have placed their order upon making reservation (or request can be sent out to those coming to dinner). Entrees are chosen from the Menu, see attachment). A salad buffet will be set up for people to make their own salads on their way to tables. People will sit inside at tables of 6-12 people in the Classic Main Lodge Dining Room. Entrees will be served at the table with bread, vegetables, and potato.  This is a more formalized traditional dinner set up. A homemade dessert will be served at the table to complete the meal.
Sit-down Dinner: $28 per person
(plus service charge 15% and sales taxes 5.5%. Total = $33.97/person)
 

Yes, for special occasions and celebrations we are often asked for banquet/party services. We provide an unique setting and atmosphere, a perfect match for that special occasion. We can offer a sit down dinner, buffet, outside steak cookout, or shore-dinner. If you are looking for a location for an anniversary or birthday, an yearly event, charity dinner, or even wedding, please consider Teal Lake.

Capacity: To offer our best service and food quality, we must restrict our capacity to 90 people for a sit down and buffet dinner. Our forte is groups of 30-50 people.  

At Teal Lake we prepare your meals the old fashioned way from scratch, using our traditional recipes, from the finest ingredients. Our dining room is open 5 evenings a week (closed Tuesday and Thursday). Not to worry though, there are options for these days too, see below.

Dinner hours: 6pm - 8pm (please have your foot in the door by 8pm)
Reservations required by 4pm, so we can bake enough fresh muffins. Thank you.

Dinner Price: $22 or $28 (depending on the entree)
A 15% service charge is automatically added, this is in lieu of tipping. Please do not leave tips in the dining room. WI sales tax applies.

Dinner includes the salad bar (with our own dressings), fresh baked rolls, biscuits and muffins, choice of entrée, potato, vegatable, nonalcoholic beverages and an assortment of luscious desserts prepared fresh daily.  (We take out all the calories in the kitchen and give them back to you in a brown paper bag when you leave!)

Reservation Policy

Breakfast reservations are not necessary, but are appreciated (especially for larger groups).  Dinner reservations are needed because we prepare for a specific number and attempt to assure ideal seating.
