Course Rules of Play

The game of golf has the appearance of having many rules.

Teal Wing believes that this has made the game unfriendly and too uptight. Teal Wing wants you to enjoy your game of golf and your time in the beautiful north country. It is up to you how many of the official golf rules you want to follow. Just look at the 1st two rules on Teal Wing' scorecard

1) The BEAR PLAYS THROUGH! Please respect the environment.
2) USGA Rules of Golf apply, if you so choose!

A Golf Critic.

The one main rule Teal Wing asks of people is simple respect. Respect for mother nature, the course, other golfers, and the hard working staff. Teal Wing was designed to lay gently on the land, and we continue to strive to have as little impact on the environment as possible. We thank all the golfers who help us achieve this by being conscientious.

Our DRESS CODE is "informal", in accord with a relaxed family resort. We do not require collars but do ask that your cloths keep others sensitivities in mind. When pressed for a dress code we say "CLEAN fishing clothes"!

To help preserve our environment and greens, we REQUEST but DO NOT REQUIRE, non-metal spike shoes.

Teal Wing welcomes non-playing walkers and riders. Please register at the Pro shop. All golf cart operators must have valid a driver's license and operator is responsible for damages. Teal Wing is one of few places with 4-seater golf carts so there is room for everyone.
