This unique cabin is close to the lakefront but elevated off the lake, with a spectacular long view of our wilderness islands, gorgeous sunsets and (if you are lucky) Northern Lights. Stairs lead down to a lovely lake-edge hiking trail and a shared dock. An outdoor fire ring is shared with the cabin next door.

Split-Level Two-Bedroom Lakeside Guest Home Whistle Wings is a charming, year around, split-level home with large sitting room with double sofa bed, kitchen and wood burning fireplace. A superb picture window view of Teal Lake is a feature of the living room.  Stairs lead up to a traditional inside balcony off which is two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have private tub/shower bathrooms; one bedroom has a king bed, (could be split into 2 twins upon request); the other has twin beds (can be made king size on request). There are 2 entrances, one downstairs into the sitting room and one in the bedroom with the 2 twins. Please note that there is a balcony and a stairwell in this unit, as well as stairs to the dock. This provides character and a lovely view but challenges for some. We recommend those with babies or toddlers, or those with bad joints to consider one of the other Type D cabins. This is a great unit for 2 couples, with 2 kings and 2 bathrooms.  Also a good choice for a family with teenagers.  Whistle Wings and Wood Duck are located next to each other and combine well for larger family vacations. * This unit has central air conditioning.
