Great Food: Ross' takes pride in the best ingredients and old fashioned home cooking! We receive many compliments on our superb meals, day after day, year after year. We have had over 80 years to get the recipes right. Many recipes are unchanged from Great-Grandma Virginia's in the 20's: others are tried and true family favorites from the subsequent Mrs. Ross'. Great-Grandma Virginia also trained a young girl, Glenda, who is now our head cook! Because of the home cooking we can usually accommodate special dietary needs with advanced notice. Great Setting: The Dining Room is located in our historic Main Lodge (built 1920's), with warm wood paneling, lake views, and historic pictures. Our homespun tablecloths not only add Northwood's atmosphere, but also catch spilled milk. With seating for 90 people in 3 sections, there is plenty of room for the quiet couple at one end, and the family reunion at the other. Kids are always welcome (see kid options for details). Smokers are asked to step outside and enjoy the lake views.
Non-Lodge guests are always welcome to join us for Breakfast or Dinner in the Dining Room, or Lunch at the Golf Course. Read Dining Public Welcome for details... You will not go hungry at Teal Lake, we promise. There is some sort of food being served on the resort starting at 7:30 am (with coffee available starting at 6:30), all the way till 8:00 pm at night. A hearty traditional Breakfast starts the day at Teal Lake, offering a buffet with fruit and home-baked cookies and sweet rolls, as well as hot custom orders from the kitchen. For Lunch, there are multiple options, including Grilled Picnic Lunch at the Golf course or custom-made sandwich baskets. For larger groups we offer a lunch buffet and even a working lunch for business groups. Read more on Lunch @ Teal Lake ....
 Enjoy lunch or dinner on the Wilderness Islands on Teal Lake. The Lodge has an Island picnic most Thursday summer afternoons, great fun for young and old. Ross' is also one of the few places who still do an authentic Walleye Shore Dinner, like the fishing guides did in the 1920's. This is a Wisconsin experience that should NOT be missed. Dinner is served in the Dining Room 5 nights of the week and includes a full salad buffet, entrée, and dessert... all home-cooked. On Tuesday and Thursday when the Dining Room is closed, we offer Gourmet dinner baskets to take back to the cabin or on the pontoon. See Dinner @ Teal Lake for more details...
Banquet Services are always an option at Ross' Teal Lake Lodge. We have friendly staff, great food, an intimate space (100 people capacity) and a unique setting, perfect for Anniversary or birthday parties, business outings, and more. See Banquet Services for more details.
Reservation Policy
Breakfast reservations are not necessary, but are appreciated (especially for larger groups). Dinner reservations are needed by 4pm so we can make enough home-baked muffins and dessert! (We only prepare for the number expected.) Lunch at the golf course requires no reservations.

Lots of People ask about dining room dress code. Well ... we are not very formal, but we ask for CLEAN fishing clothes!

We offer THREE to FOUR special items each night. We offer a BROILED AGED RIB EYE ANGUS STEAK*, every night except Saturday (Lodge tradition dictates Prime Rib on Saturday), so if you find the choice too hard one day, the steak is still offered AGAIN tomorrow! It can be grilled normally or "blackened" with creole pepper seasoning with a horseradish sauce option.
