LINENS
All linens are furnished in all Guest homes. Beds have good quality sheets, blankets, pillows, and bedcover (either classic white cotton throws or handmade quilts by Mrs. Ross). We also have old bedcovers for the four footed bed companions. Many guests comment on how comfortable the beds are and last summer, a 10 year old boy came to the office to tell us "we had the best beds!"

TOWELS
Towels are provided for the bathrooms and kitchens, enough for the number of people expected and more if needed. Fresh towels are replaced daily. Blue swim towels are in the office, just return your used/wet towel and grab a fresh one. We also provide old towels for the four footed members of the family.

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
Daily housekeeping service is provided for all guests and in all accommodations, just like a hotel. We are very lucky to have a wonderful housekeeping staff that have been with us for many years, they know many of the returning guest by name, not to mention their personal "quircks." Daily housekeeping includes making of the beds with a sheet change every 3-4 days (unless waived by the guest), cleaning of bathrooms and refreshing of towels, and replenishment of soaps (hand and dish) and paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex). We do not provide personal amenities such as shampoo.

KITCHENS
All kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Kitchens (Category B,C,D,E) have regular range, all dishes, flatware, pots, pans & utensils. Housekeeping does not do dishes. Mini kitchens (Category A only) do not have dishes, flatware, or cooking utensils.

FIREPLACES
Our fireplaces burn real wood! They are not gas, electric or remote controlled! Unlimited wood for fireplaces is furnished at no charge and is next to the cabin.

FANS and AIR CONDITIONING
Only two of our guest homes have central air conditioning - Whistle Wings (2 bedroom) and Wood Duck (3 bedroom). However, there are many ceiling fans, many floor and window fans and usually a wonderful breeze from the west, across the lake, and good cross ventilation. Our nights are generally cool.

KEYS and LOCKS
Ross' Teal Lake Lodge has always been considered a safe and private property. There are locks on the cabins, if you want to lock from the inside, but we do NOT use keys (never have in 100 years). If you have valuables that you are uncomfortable leaving in the unlock cabin, we suggest keeping it in the car, or giving to the office to lock up.

TV and VCR/DVD
Every guest home has a TV. They are not the newest and not the slimmest, but they get the local weather (just the four main channels.) We do have DIRECT TV on premise that can reach the BAR for games etc. but reaches nowhere else. Sorry!
Remember, this is "vacation."
DVD's and VCR's are $5/day for rental, or you may bring your own.

GRILLS
We supply Weber Grills upon request at no charge - you supply the charcoal. New Weber "Q" Gas grills are available at a charge of $15 per day - we supply the gas.

GUEST LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Washer and Dryer are available for guest use in the historic wash house (remodeled of course) near the Main Lodge. Just sign a charge slip for $3/load, and it will be put onto your bill. We do ask that people be considerate to other guests, and not forget about their laundry.

BABYSITTING
Babysitting service is usually available, but please give our office 24 hour notice.

PETS
Well-behaved pets are welcome at Ross' Teal Lake Lodge. see Pets Welcome .

ON-PREMISE MANAGEMENT and FRIENDLY STAFF
The Ross Family lives on property and are active in day-to-day operations. This allows us to see our guests everyday and be readily at hand to meet any of requests or concerns. There is also a friendly staff of 35 people, some who live on property, who are always available; whether it be to bring extra towels, gas a boat, or answer questions.

COMMUNICATIONS with the outside world - Phones, Web Access, Fax
Teal Lake is an escape from the craziness of the outside world, and we try to keep it at an arms length, so guest feel it is a TRUE vacation. For those that need to keep in touch with the outside while on vacation, we do provide 21st century communication, we just keep it hidden. See our Communications link for details.
